10 Reasons To Buy Micromax Canvas HD A116

CANVAS HD A116 has created a lot of buzz in the international as well as Indian markets due to it low price and outstanding features...the company has sold more than 1 million products of the same within 2 months.. (Got To Know This From A T.V. Commercial :P )

HERE ARE 10 REASONS AS TO WHY YOU SHOULD GO FOR CANVAS HD A116:

  1. 1:Ultra Slim: The A116 HD has an ultra slim body measuring 10.7 mm in width and weighing a mere 156 grams. The device keeps up with the ultraslim trend and feels great in the hands and easy to carry.

  2. 2:The 5-inch Display: 2013 is the year of 5-inch phablets with majority of the smartphones aiming for at least one launch in this category. Micromax set the standards with a brilliant 5-inch display device at an affordable rate. So for all those who coveted a large display device but couldn’t afford to splurge huge moolah on one, the A116 Canvas HD is here. Also, its big screen is accompanied by great looks so no one can guess the device can be had for a bargain.

  3. 3:HD Screen: A 5-inch screen coupled with a HD display resolution is akin to being offered a triple chocolate brownie. The device has an IPS LCD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution and 229 ppi pixel density. Which for technology novices means more vibrant colors, sharp images, bright display- a surreal combination for watching videos and playing high def games.

  4. 4:User Interface: The device is powered by the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with the 4.2 Jelly Bean OS upgrade option. Jelly Bean comes with Google’s Project Butter, whose claim to fame is the excellent browsing experience while navigating the device and also the ergonomic placement of tabs with easy toggle options. Micromax has chosen not to meddle too much with the Android interface so you can enjoy the Jelly Bean exclusively.

  5. 5:Quad Core Processor: The A116 Canvas HD has a 1.2GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor and PowerVR SGX544 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB ROM. This indicates a high speed browsing experience, no crashes or sudden jerks while surfing or playing with more than a single app.

  6. 6:The Camera: The device has an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front one. Micromax has enhanced the camera with some of its home brewed features including the burst mode that can take 99 shots at a go. The rear snapper has autofocus and Dual LED flash integrated to give great shots in all conditions. Micromax has given three modes for shooting - Face Beauty, HDR and Photo, and the rear camera also offer HD video recording option.

  7. 7:Micromax Apps: Apart from the marvellous selection of the Google Play Store apps where the user can find practically any app they need, Micromax has supplemented the device with a few of its own applications as a treat to its customers. Also, users can also download apps from the Micromax App StorE which is a rich storehouse of wonderful apps.

  8. 8:Connectivity Options: The device’s 2G and 3G connectivity frequency will allow you to use your A116 Canvas HD in numerous countries and the device will support many international operators as well. The tablet gives excellent connectivity for calling and internet usage while the GPS and A-GPS work well to give you accurate location service without any hitches.

  9. 9:The Battery Backup: The A116 Canvas HD is fueled by a 2000mAh battery, which adds to the weight of the device, but gives really great backup for enjoying all the great features on this device. It will  easily run for around 4 hours with internet surfing, playing games and even attending phone calls. This is ideal for anyone who is on the run for long hours and can’t charge the device frequently. Also, since the battery pack is removable, you can always carry a backup.

  10. 10:Price: This is what it all boils down to ultimately - the price, the reason which makes the A116 Canvas HD so popular and sought after. At under  Rs. 15,000, the device covers all the requirements of a phablet and much more. It is a bargain that most would not like to miss.

Samsung Series 3 Chromebook

THE BRAND NEW SAMSUNG CHROMEBOOK SERIES 3 :

As Microsoft ushers in Windows 8 in a bid to unify laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones all under one OS, Google continues to push the concept of cloud storage and working inside the speedy confines of its Chrome web browser by announcing the Samsung Series 3 Chromebook.

Samsung Series 3 Chromebook: Size and build

The Series 3 maintains the same stylish, slender design that has a MacBook-esque feel to it, until you actually put your hands on it and realise that it is a grey plastic chassis as opposed to an aluminium like the one found on the pricey Apple laptop.

Samsung Chromebook: Features

Not a great deal has changed from the Chrome OS relying on Wi-Fi and a Gmail account to get access to the speedy browser syncing bookmarks and tabs from desktop and mobile versions and opening access to applications like Gmail, YouTube, Google Play, Maps and Drive. Google Docs offer offline support which still makes it useful even when you don’t have an internet connection.

One thing we have to get used to of course is that everything is saved and stored in the cloud, and while there is 16GB of built-in flash storage, you will have to make good use of Google Drive with 100GB of room offered for free for the first two years.

Google Glass tech specs leaked..

Google Glass's technical specifications have been published online and they include 16GB of storage, Wi-Fi and Blutooth and a 5MP camera

Google Glass, it seems, will come with 16GB of total storage, 12GB of which will be usable memory, synched with Google's cloud storage. The device will also boast Wi-Fi and Blutooth connectivity and a 5MP camera capable of shooting 720p video.
The Google Glass will be fully adjustable and will apparently be able to fit any face. It's Hi-Res display will be the equivalent of a 25 inch high definition screen from eight feet away.
Interstingly, the device won't have earbeds or headphones and will instead feature something called a Bone Conduction Transducer. According to CNET this piece of hardware transmits sound to the user's brain by vibrating the bones in their ear through their head.
Google Glass will come bundled with a micro-USB charger and boast a full day's worth of battery life, although some features "like Hangouts and video recording, are more battery intensive".
There's no release date announced alongside these specs....

Iphone 5 : 5 Reasons NOT To Buy One

MAD FOR IPHONE 5..ARE YOU?
WELL,HERE ARE 5 REASONS WHY NOT TO GO FOR IPHONE 5...

Apple stores across the country were flung open today for the first eager customers wanting to pick up an iPhone 5. There's little doubt Apple's latest phone is an impressive piece of technology, and anyone that buys one will probably be very happy with it, but it's certainly not the second coming some were expecting.
With that in mind, is it worth buying one at all?
Here Are A Few Reasons To Save Your Money:
1. You’ve already got one
Own an iPhone already? Then you can get pretty much every one of the iPhone 5's new features by updating it to iOS 6. Passbook, Facebook integration, improved Siri and iCloud Safari tabs can all make the jump to existing iphone owners at the push of a button. Even the new panorama photo mode will work on the iPhone 4S, so if you're still tied into a contract you don't have to feel like you're missing out.
Aside from the larger screen and slightly faster processor, there's very little actual innovation here. Even the so-called "new" design is relatively unchanged, with a metallic rather than glass back being the only noticeable difference.

4. You’ll need to buy adapters for all your accessories
Apple introduced a new docking connector with the iPhone 5, which it dubbed Lightning. It's significantly smaller than the old 30-pin connector, and is reversible so you don't have to worry which way round to plug it in. However, it also means that all your existing iPhone accessories will no longer work.

3. It doesn't support NFC
Almost every new flagship smartphone now includes a near field communication (NFC) chip which can be used to connect to accessories, pair equipment wirelessly, set up file transfers and make payments at smart terminals. It's already appearing in coffee shops and train stations, and support for the technology is expected to grow astronomically over the next few years.

2. You'll be tied in to iTunes
If you're thinking about making the leap from an Android or Windows Phone handset, or have even yet to jump on the smartphone bandwagon, keep in mind that when you buy an iPhone you're also buying into iTunes - one of the worst pieces of software ever to force its way into the public consciousness.
Almost everyone we've ever spoken to about iTunes has at least one of these horror stories to tell, ranging from a complete inability to recognize ID3 tags, music going missing and forced app updates crashing PCs, to forced device reboots and complete data wipes. It doesn't seem to matter if you're using a Mac or PC, want to sync an iPhone, iPad or iPod, have a music collection spanning several hard disks or just a few albums...
1. iOS 6 maps are a bit of a fail
With the iPhone 5, and iOS 6 in general, Apple has stopped using Google as the supplier for its mapping data, instead opting to use its own information rather than pay a key rival for the privilege. The unfortunate downside to this move is that Apple's mapping data is, at best, patchy.

As well as not knowing the whereabouts of many locations, many entries are outdated, incorrect or just plain ridiculous. Navigating around Sao Paulo, Brazil apparently reveals the presence of a Japanese plaza, Gothamburg seems to have vanished from a satellite view of Sweden and German mountain ranges appear to have localised seasons, changing from completely snowed under to lush green grass in the same image.

LAVA XOLO Vs Micromax A110

CANT CHOOSE BETWEEN MICROMAX A110 AND LAVA XOLO x900?

Xolo has its plans to make it big in 2013 with it's new super fast android smartphones . In a month, Lava Xolo has another big product to hit the market..A 5-inch android smartphone that fits the hand and the plan, agreeably. Xolo A1000 has a width of barely 70mm, that makes holding with one hand , much more effortless. It is just 8.8 mm thick. We spotted the model strutting around in the capital city. Warm your eyes with certain depictions of this double-center (not Intel) and 2100 mAh electric storage device controlled telephone. It runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and has a front-challenging camera with flash. It accompanies a 8MP back camera with an LED Flash. The phone is just 8.8mm thick, sleeker than the greater part of the 5-creep cell phones in the Indian business. There are capacitive touch binds for multi-tasking, home and back. This is Xolo's second colossal start in the final one month.
Whereas, Micromax is already offering A110 Canvas 2, which is a budget 5-inch phablet. This phablet was launched in October and costs Rs. 9,999. It is a dual-SIM phablet that is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.

Confused between Samsung Galaxy Grand and Micromax A116 Canvas HD?

Confused Between CANVAS HD A116 And Samsung Grand?

Here's a general review,comparing both the phones:

Micromax A116 Canvas HD: Micromax boasts of a quadcore processor under its hood that far outperforms the Galaxy Grand, allowing for a smooth experience that complements its good build quality. The handset handles multi-tasking well and plays any video or game without a stutter. The IPS HD screen is also sharp and has wide viewing angles, but colours look washed out when compared to the Grand. The camera on this device is its biggest drawback, with pictures appearing blurry in low light and light sources showing streaks; it's passable to use with apps like Instagram. Sound quality is good, but be warned that you need to use the earphones packaged with the device - other 3.5mm headphones may not work as well.

                                            CANVAS HD

Samsung Galaxy Grand: Spec-to-spec, the Galaxy Grand is closer to the Micromax A110 Canvas 2 than the A116 Canvas HD. But what you get is a customized Android interface that is really quite nice and intuitive to use, especially for first-time smartphone owners. The device looks and feels premium, and even though the screen isn't HD, it pumps out vibrant colours and has great viewing angles. What's more, for multimedia, it's a far better phone than the Canvas HD - sound quality is very good and the camera captures images with accurate colour representation. But the dual-core processor makes the phone stutter when multitasking, and there are a couple of times when the screen froze on us during tests. In fact, a few users we know have had repeated problems with the handset periodically hanging and rebooting.

                                         SAMSUNG GRAND

So what should you buy? Both the phones offer middling battery life, but have good build quality, so it's the individual features that separates them. With its high-def screen, stellar performance and lower price, the Canvas HD is the better choice for anyone who doesn't care about camera performance as much. However, if multimedia is what matters to you, then the Galaxy Grand is a better purchase. What you should also consider here is that Samsung is a tried-and-tested brand, known for its quality after-sales service and support. It inspires more confidence in the event of things going wrong as compared to Micromax, which doesn't have a great track record in after-sales support, nor the same number of service centers.
