BBM For Android and iOS.... :D

They wear cool suits, they wear shiny shoes, they are special, they are clever, they do chat, they do mail, they do surf and they do all on the move…And this time they are non-BlackBerry boys too. It’s better late than never for BlackBerry as it invites the non-BlackBerry boys to join the social army by downloading BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) on Android and iOS. The premier private social network from BlackBerry is available for free in the App Store and Google Play.
Now That's A Top  Trending Buzz...
So with the continuous downfall of BLACKBERY, The marketers have devised a new way out to keep Blackberry In The Race Of Mobiles..
So Here it is...BBM for Android And iOS...

BlackBerry rolled out the official BBM app for Android and iOS after numerous delays, and the firm has netted 10 million downloads in the first 24 hours.
BBM is available as a free download in the Google Play market, Apple App Store and select Samsung App Stores. However, due to high demand for the app BlackBerry has been limiting access.
Users who signed up at BBM.com, will get a headstart and should be able to use BBM on their Android or iOS device immediately. Those who didn't sign up will have to register and wait for an email before they can activate the app.
Despite the delay, uptake of BBM has proved incredibly popular, with the @BBM confirming the ten million user mark had been surpassed.

The software was originally expected to debut on Android and iPhone devices on 21 and 22 September, respectively. However, this was scrapped after an incomplete version of BBM for Android appeared online hours before its official launch.
This unofficial app was downloaded by more than 1.1 million people during its first eight hours of availability.
The company has also revealed that around three million people have registered to be notified exactly when the app will be available.
In a statement, BlackBerry said it was heartened by the initial response to the release, despite the issues it has caused.
As a result, it confirmed that the worldwide rollout of the software for both iPhone and Android users has now been put on hold.
"Customers who have already downloaded BBM for iPhone will be able to continue to use BBM. The unreleased Android app will be disabled, and customers who downloaded it should visit www.BBM.com to register for updates on official BBM for Android availability," the statement continued.
What is BBM?
BlackBerry Messenger or BBM as it is commonly known was one of the first mainstream instant-messaging services on smartphones. The app comes preloaded onto BlackBerry devices allowing users to call, text, video chat and share screens with other BlackBerry users via 3G and free over Wi-Fi.
Using the BlackBerry Group feature, you can privately share calendar events, photos and other documents with up to 30 other BBM users.
How does it work?
Each BlackBerry devices is assigned a unique PIN – which acts as contact number. In theory these PIN-to-PIN messages are as secure as they come. Despite being able to send and receive messages in seconds, there is a complex four-step process for each message:
1. The first stop for a BBM PIN-to-PIN message is the user's mobile network.
2. The operator then forwards the message to a BlackBerry relay station in Canada.
3. From here message is transferred to BlackBerry’s mobile service provider
4. Finally, the (receiving) mobile service provider then transmits the message to the recipient.
Why is BlackBerry rolling out BBM to iOS and Android users now?
Blackberry is struggling to gain traction in the smartphone market, having spent the bulk of 2012 designing its BlackBerry 10 operating system. The firm lost many of its users to Android and iOS operating systems during this time.
Applications such as WhatsApp, which allow users to communicate over-cross platforms have also become hugely popular and at this moment in time are more useful than BBM.
BBM has an active user base of 60 million, compared to 200 million for WhatsApp. BlackBerry is hoping that by extending its app to Android and iOS, users will be encourage to buy its devices.
Will the Android and iOS versions have all the same features and functionality?
For the most part yes. iOS and Android users would be carry out all the regular BBM messaging services. The app will also allow them to share photos and voice notes, and engage in BBM Groups chats containing up to 30 people.
iOS and Android users will be able to add their contacts through PIN, email, SMS or QR code scan. BlackBerry says that Android users will also be able to connect using a compatible NFC-capable device.

A day after relaunching its BBM app for Android and iOS, BlackBerry says its cross-platform BBM app has been downloaded over 10 million times within 24 hours. BBM head Andrew Bocking, in a blog post, said that BBM topped the Apple App Store free app rankings chart in the first 24 hours - taking the number one slot in more than 75 countries, including the US, Canada, the UK, Indonesia and most of the Middle East. In the Google Play Store, BBM has earned 60,000 five-star reviews from about 87,000 reviews.

Apple-iOS7- What The Buzz Is All About...

Back With An Article On One of The Most Awaited APPLE SOFTWARE UPDATE-The iOS7

With the original iPhone software nearly six years old, Apple has taken a bold step that hints at larger screens through the use of bright colors, swipe gestures and animation.
OS 7 is considered a robust update with a number of positive points, including edge-to-edge design, the automatic update of apps, improved Mail, better security and the inclusion of AirDrop for iOS.The new update also fixes 80 security vulnerabilities that presumably remain in iOS 6, including the prevention of malicious code execution, determination of pass codes through applications, and the ability to intercept data protected with IPSec Hybrid Auth. However, a number of flaws and problems have been reported, including lagging response times, app confusion with gesture control, inconsistent design and garish colour schemes.
While The iOS has chugged on from year to year (rigidly eschewing the back button favoured in Android and, latterly, Windows Phone), other user interface ideas have come in. WebOS and the BlackBerry PlayBook brought the idea of viewing your multitasking apps on a flat carousel, and killing apps by swiping them upwards, or choosing them by pressing on them. BB10 introduced the neat swipe left to move back to a previous screen. Android offered quick ways to access your Wi-Fi and other settings without necessarily unlocking the phone.
With The Inevitable flaws creeping into the OS,users are likely to get more inclined towards the
androids and the Blackberry OS.
More than 7 million tweets about iOS 7 were sent in the 24 hours before and after the launch of the OS. That's according to Crimson Hexagon, a social media analysis firm. The precise number: 7,364,005.
(Phew...that's a large number.. :P )
PLUS, An Embarrassing discovery comes within hours of release of new software and exploits Control Center feature to hack into photos, texts and Facebook content.Apple says it will fix an embarrassing security flaw on its new iOS 7 software which hackers showed can bypass the lockscreen and access personal data.
The Flaw, discovered within hours of iOS 7 becoming publicly available, can be exploited on the iPhone 4S and 5 and gives access to personal data including email, photos, Twitter, Facebook and Flickr. It is exploited via the Control Center function, which is found by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. That offers access to the phone user's alarms, a calculator, and the camera, as well as frequently-used settings such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Airplane mode.

The Above Link Shows How To Enter The Photo Gallery By Bypassing The Password In The iOS.

COMPARISION:
Okay.So A Brief Comparision Of iOS7 With Its Competitors:
Looking again at Android (HTC Sense and Android 4.3 on the Nexus 4) I'm struck by how much wasted space they have, and how dark it seems - giant strips top and bottom, huge gaps between the icons. Of course iOS 7 has to put things closer together; its screens are smaller. Even so, it feels like there's wasted space. As to Android's configurability - yes, it's great. Also, potentially confusing as hell. And iOS 7 trumps it now for rapid access to functions such as turning functions on or off. And that flashlight. Trust me, you'll use it.
Windows Phone - well, the same problem of information density remains there (it's all elaborate fonts, not enough information, even on big screens), added to unintuitive navigation. BB10? If you give it time, it makes sense, and its use of gestures is (was, now) smart. But there are other UI foibles (for example, why do your Twitter direct messages live in the BlackBerry Hub, but you can't reply to them there?). BB10 has some nice ideas, but it's incoherent.
I hope you got all the requisite knowledge regarding the new iOS7..So Download It According To Your Will.. :P

The BlackBerry Q10.... :)

BlackBerry Q10 is BlackBerry's first hardware keyboard equipped smartphone that runs the new BlackBerry 10 operating system.

While its predecessor, the BlackBerry Z10 won accolades for some of its innovative software features, including its touch keyboard and fluid navigation, everyone's been eagerly waiting for the Q10, as hardware keyboards have been known to be BlackBerry's key strength.
Is the Q10 able to take forward BlackBerry's lineage of excellent communication devices while integrating it with its next generation smartphone OS? We find out in this review....

Build/ DesignThe BlackBerry Q10 offers a multi-touch screen with a hardware keyboard. The phone looks a lot like the Bold 9900, BlackBerry's last flagship hardware keyboard phone. It has rounded edges and retains the classic BlackBerry look. The phone comes in Black and White colour variants...The front of the phone features a square screen that measure 3.1-inch on the diagonal and the 35 key keyboard in addition to the 2-megapixel front facing camera and an array of sensors.

The hardware keyboard, which is the USP of the phone, offers good tactile feedback and the keys, are large enough for convenient and quick typing. It's worth pointing out that the keys on the Q10 are arranged in a straight line and not in a curved layout as found in its Bold siblings. One reason for this is that the Q10 does not include any extra hardware keys for navigating through the phone, choosing the menu and for accepting and rejecting calls. Thin metal bars that sport a brushed silver look separate the four rows of keys. You would think that the new operating system's swipe gestures would require a bezel below the screen, similar to the one seen in the Palm Pixi, but there's no wasted space here.
The BlackBerry Q10 sports a solid metal frame on the sides that has a brushed Silver finish. On the right side, you will find the Volume rocker keys with a Mute key sitting between. The micro-HDMI and Micro-USB port are located at the left hand side. The 3.5mm headset jack and the Power/ Screen lock key sits at the top while a speaker grill is located at the bottom edge of the phone.
DisplayThe BlackBerry Q10 offers a unique 3.1-inch (diagonal) square shaped screen. It's a Super AMOLED diplay that offers a resolution of 720x720 pixels and pixel density of 330ppi. The screen packs in few more pixels per inch than the iPhone 5 (326ppi) and text, images and videos appear extremely sharp and clear. It offers excellent viewing angles and good sunlight legibility.

Software/ User InterfaceThe Q10 has a hardware keyboard and a smaller screen compared to the Z10, the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone. BlackBerry has made some changes to the operating system in order to add support for the QWERTY keyboard and include some new features that make full use of the hardware.

The Q10 comes with BlackBerry OS 10.1...
While the BlackBerry Z10 keyboard offered a unique way to input text through a touchscreen, the Q10 offers a more conventional mode. You can configure the phone to show three word predictions while entering text, although the option is not turned on by default. It also learns new words and offers them as suggestions when you type. We observed that it was able to catch Hindi words typed in English ('Hinglish' if you will) over our course of using the phone.

CameraThe BlackBerry Q10 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The phone's camera app comes with limited number of settings. It offers three shooting modes namely, Still, Video and Timeshift. In the Still mode the phone offers options to shoot in Normal, Stabilisation, Burst and HDR modes. There's no Panorama mode. You can select between Auto, Action, Whiteboard, Night and Beach or Snow scenes. You can also choose if you want to take 1:1 square photos or photos in 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios. You can also choose default storage and toggle geo-tagging.

The video camera also offers Normal and Stabilisation shooting modes, Auto, Night and Beach or Snow scenes and choice between 1080p and 720p resolution.
Performance/ HardwareThe BlackBerry Q10 is a powerful smartphone in terms of hardware specifications, when compared to its predecessor. It features a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card....

Samsung Chromebook: Features

Not a great deal has changed from the Chrome OS relying on Wi-Fi and a Gmail account to get access to the speedy browser syncing bookmarks and tabs from desktop and mobile versions and opening access to applications like Gmail, YouTube, Google Play, Maps and Drive. Google Docs offer offline support which still makes it useful even when you don’t have an internet connection.

One thing we have to get used to of course is that everything is saved and stored in the cloud, and while there is 16GB of built-in flash storage, you will have to make good use of Google Drive with 100GB of room offered for free for the first two years.

Google Glass tech specs leaked..

Google Glass's technical specifications have been published online and they include 16GB of storage, Wi-Fi and Blutooth and a 5MP camera

Google Glass, it seems, will come with 16GB of total storage, 12GB of which will be usable memory, synched with Google's cloud storage. The device will also boast Wi-Fi and Blutooth connectivity and a 5MP camera capable of shooting 720p video.
The Google Glass will be fully adjustable and will apparently be able to fit any face. It's Hi-Res display will be the equivalent of a 25 inch high definition screen from eight feet away.
Interstingly, the device won't have earbeds or headphones and will instead feature something called a Bone Conduction Transducer. According to CNET this piece of hardware transmits sound to the user's brain by vibrating the bones in their ear through their head.
Google Glass will come bundled with a micro-USB charger and boast a full day's worth of battery life, although some features "like Hangouts and video recording, are more battery intensive".
There's no release date announced alongside these specs....

Iphone 5 : 5 Reasons NOT To Buy One

MAD FOR IPHONE 5..ARE YOU?
WELL,HERE ARE 5 REASONS WHY NOT TO GO FOR IPHONE 5...

Apple stores across the country were flung open today for the first eager customers wanting to pick up an iPhone 5. There's little doubt Apple's latest phone is an impressive piece of technology, and anyone that buys one will probably be very happy with it, but it's certainly not the second coming some were expecting.
With that in mind, is it worth buying one at all?
Here Are A Few Reasons To Save Your Money:
1. You’ve already got one
Own an iPhone already? Then you can get pretty much every one of the iPhone 5's new features by updating it to iOS 6. Passbook, Facebook integration, improved Siri and iCloud Safari tabs can all make the jump to existing iphone owners at the push of a button. Even the new panorama photo mode will work on the iPhone 4S, so if you're still tied into a contract you don't have to feel like you're missing out.
Aside from the larger screen and slightly faster processor, there's very little actual innovation here. Even the so-called "new" design is relatively unchanged, with a metallic rather than glass back being the only noticeable difference.

4. You’ll need to buy adapters for all your accessories
Apple introduced a new docking connector with the iPhone 5, which it dubbed Lightning. It's significantly smaller than the old 30-pin connector, and is reversible so you don't have to worry which way round to plug it in. However, it also means that all your existing iPhone accessories will no longer work.

3. It doesn't support NFC
Almost every new flagship smartphone now includes a near field communication (NFC) chip which can be used to connect to accessories, pair equipment wirelessly, set up file transfers and make payments at smart terminals. It's already appearing in coffee shops and train stations, and support for the technology is expected to grow astronomically over the next few years.

2. You'll be tied in to iTunes
If you're thinking about making the leap from an Android or Windows Phone handset, or have even yet to jump on the smartphone bandwagon, keep in mind that when you buy an iPhone you're also buying into iTunes - one of the worst pieces of software ever to force its way into the public consciousness.
Almost everyone we've ever spoken to about iTunes has at least one of these horror stories to tell, ranging from a complete inability to recognize ID3 tags, music going missing and forced app updates crashing PCs, to forced device reboots and complete data wipes. It doesn't seem to matter if you're using a Mac or PC, want to sync an iPhone, iPad or iPod, have a music collection spanning several hard disks or just a few albums...
1. iOS 6 maps are a bit of a fail
With the iPhone 5, and iOS 6 in general, Apple has stopped using Google as the supplier for its mapping data, instead opting to use its own information rather than pay a key rival for the privilege. The unfortunate downside to this move is that Apple's mapping data is, at best, patchy.

As well as not knowing the whereabouts of many locations, many entries are outdated, incorrect or just plain ridiculous. Navigating around Sao Paulo, Brazil apparently reveals the presence of a Japanese plaza, Gothamburg seems to have vanished from a satellite view of Sweden and German mountain ranges appear to have localised seasons, changing from completely snowed under to lush green grass in the same image.

CANT CHOOSE BETWEEN MICROMAX A110 AND LAVA XOLO x900?

Xolo has its plans to make it big in 2013 with it's new super fast android smartphones . In a month, Lava Xolo has another big product to hit the market..A 5-inch android smartphone that fits the hand and the plan, agreeably. Xolo A1000 has a width of barely 70mm, that makes holding with one hand , much more effortless. It is just 8.8 mm thick. We spotted the model strutting around in the capital city. Warm your eyes with certain depictions of this double-center (not Intel) and 2100 mAh electric storage device controlled telephone. It runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and has a front-challenging camera with flash. It accompanies a 8MP back camera with an LED Flash. The phone is just 8.8mm thick, sleeker than the greater part of the 5-creep cell phones in the Indian business. There are capacitive touch binds for multi-tasking, home and back. This is Xolo's second colossal start in the final one month.
Whereas, Micromax is already offering A110 Canvas 2, which is a budget 5-inch phablet. This phablet was launched in October and costs Rs. 9,999. It is a dual-SIM phablet that is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.
